From Luminous Knights LP. Hiawatha was a precolonial native American belonging to the Onandaga and Mohawk people. He had three daughters whom he loved dearly, but they all died as children. Broken hearted, he set out to stop tribal wars that led to the death and suffering of others. He was able to bring together the five warring tribes into the Iroquois Confederacy, many tenets of which the US Constitution is based on. He did it all for the love of his three daughters. This is our song about him. Composed, performed and produced by Sensitive Mannequins

Lyrics

Well he sees visions of his daughters gone
Arrows in his broken heart
Five nations he joined for them
Beautify the sky road

Hiawatha
Hiawatha

Whatcha cookin' there
On the kettle down in your house
Where my reflection is on the water
Of your kettle pot

Head held low
There he roams
Hiawatha
On the sky road
